Symphony No.9 in D minor Op. 125

The Outcry Ensemble’s Beethoven 251 Festival will conclude with what promises to be a peerless performance of the incomparable 9th Symphony. Following on from the outstanding success of the first 8 Symphonies this summer, the orchestra will be joined by the Academy of English Voices and 4 spectacular soloists in a Charity Fundraiser to be staged in St John’s Smith Square. James Henshaw conducts the first professional performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony since Covid-19 shut down concerts last year. The programme will also include the Coriolan Overture and movements from the Cantata for the Death of Joseph II.

All the money that The Outcry Ensemble receives from Ticket sales will go to supporting the Alzheimer's Society thanks to the generous support of Outcry’s patrons who have absorbed all the performance costs.
